Extra Life Begins, Gaming For Charity

Look how happy the green dude is!Last year I had the pleasure of playing SingStar with Jim Sterling for 12 hours. I nearly died, as did many people watching. Extra Life is a charity event organised by Sarcastic Gamer and really is something you should be paying attention too. Game as much as you can in 24 hours and make a tonne of money to fund pediatric cancer research and treatment.

You can send money to them here or better, pick a site from the list on this page and watch them borderline comatose themselves gaming, then send them a few bucks out of pity. Rarely does the gaming community come together to do something meaningful, Extra Life one of those golden exceptions.

Good luck to all involved!
