Nintendo Cracking Down on R4s, Asks You Who’s Selling
Do you know somebody who sells R4s or gives access to free DS ROMS? Nintendo wants to know about that. However, as it’s getting harder and harder for them to find the evil-doers directly, they’re enlisting you Joe (or Joanna) Public for help.
They have created a new site, currently only in Japanese, encouraging you to anonymously report a host of illegal shenanigans covering stores selling R4s to sites offering free downloads of DS ROMs. This comes on top of a reported 200,000 devices which were stopped in 2008.
Apparently Nintendo are also now working with customs and police in the UK to help them spot these piratical devices of ill-doing as they enter the country. Yarr.

How did you know his name is Joe?
Oh, Joe Public, sorry! My mistake. (whistles)
