In The Pit Is No Longer Broken
In The Pit is a game I was harping on about a few weeks ago. It’s an Xbox Indie game, dirt cheap, and is audio only. Sadly, it was also broken. Had it not been borked the review score would have been much higher. Ok, that’s perhaps a bit generous, but I would have demanded you all buy it much more vocally if you could actually finish the game.
Long story short, if you were waiting for the game to be patched before dropping the Microsoft space-bucks and donning your 5.1, you can stop waiting (and buy the game via its Xbox.com page here if you’re really lazy). You don’t have too, obviously, but if you do keep waiting I’ll point my finger at you and call you an idiot.
The patch (which only took 10 months to come out after the game’s release) fixes a few of the bugs and also adds the ability to hear what the controls are from the pause menu. It’s so next-gen.
I have reached out for comment regarding the rumoured In The Pit 2: Back in The Habit, and will keep you all updated on any developments.
