EA Knows What Girls Want

Girls just wanna have fun

Girls play videogames, who knew? Evidently EA knows and they want to monetise this previously untapped market. They have decided to go about this by announcing Charm Girls Club (can girls not punctuate?) at their E3 conference.

Such female activities in this new range of games include: pillow fights, hair braiding and spraying, shopping, date planning, and girl-on-girl sexual experimentation*.

These high quality, market sewing games will be available in the form of Pyjama Party on everyone’s favourite party game console, the Wii. My Perfect Prom, My Fashion Mall, and My Fashion Show will be available for the DS system.

It’s good to see that girls are finally having their needs met. I for one was getting worried that girls in the gaming world were too out of place in the ferocious sea of foul-mouthed 13 year old boys. It warms my heart knowing that they finally have some games to keep them oppressed through stereotyping entertained while us chaps can continue to enjoy blasting each others’ faces off in Gears and CoD. Girls hate that kind of thing you see. They love pink and fluffy things, not blood and adrenaline.

*May not actually include girl-on-girl sexual content.
