Starfox Creator Hates The Wii, Also Furries
As Negative Gamer’s resident furry I find myself obligated to laugh myself silly over this one. President of Pixeljunk developer Q-Games (not to be confused with Q Entertainment) Dylan Cuthbert has said in an interview with G4 that he’s not interested in being a part of any new Starfox games.
Naturally the games press jumped all over this without considering that he had only been involved with 3 of the 5 games (the poorest 2, Starwing and Starfox Command alongside the unreleased Starfox 2). As well as saying that the project would just be too big for Q-Games to be involved with he also had these choice words to stir the fanboy pot.
The Wii is a bit more of a toy, I think.
He went on to criticise Miyamoto for not caring about what a series was created to be, saying that the sainted designer would rather create what he wants to make rather than consider the series’ creator’s wishes. It’s not something that most people will find surprising given how much power Miyamoto has within Nintendo. However the choice quote came when he mentioned the series’ fanbase.
Star Fox is an interesting brand. It has a very hardcore audience. People like those furries a little too much.
Note that he’s not in the least bit surprised. I’d say this man did more for creating the furry fetish than Altered Beast ever did.

Star Fox is so awesome, it’s a shame that the whiny developers don’t want to try making games for the Wii, it has a much larger market share than any other console. If it really came down to it, they could have the game use the Gamecube controller =\
Well he more or less directly works only with Sony now, so I wouldn’t take all this too seriously.

I have one thing to say about furry, at least its not Guro. And if you don’t already know what that is, seriously don’t look it up. It will ruin your life like pot ruins life for Republicans. Don’t know why the internet so hard on them when there are people who actually might deserves such ire, like those who enjoy guro.

Yeah…. he certainly fancies himself as the creator. His ego demands that he does so. Too bad for him that’s not a reality.
