This term really does bother me. It used to be much more prevelent than it is today, but “quantum leap” is NOT a term to be describing a vast improvement with.

Although, in the case of the DSi, it might be appropriate… the original DS is still my favorite. It had a bulk that was easy to hold, the buttons had a nice click to them, and it very nicely held a GBA game. The Lite kills the first two and butchers the third, to me. The DSi is only going to finish the job of killing what was, in my opinion, a killer handheld. It didn’t need a webcam (let alone 2), and it DID need the GBA slot. Part of the greatness of the DS was its’ ability to let me play Link To The Past on a whim. Why should I get the “latest and greatest” if it won’t allow me to play half the games that I still regularly play on my DS?

@SP420: As I said in the post, I accept this post hasn’t got any real substance. Misusing the term “quantum” just drives me nuts. It;s like people using the word “infer” wrongly.

Also, I don’t think we can even have a “slow news” day on this blog, lol.

I’m sorry, but this article is somewhat pointless. Your * basically defeats any of your commentary on the Fox News article. Yes, the general public has an IQ around 30 and wouldn’t know the actual scientific definition but the slow news day really shows with this article.

people buying this are the same people that buy a new iPod every year. You know, without ever needing it or even really knowing the true differences between the older version and the new fad…
This is not DS-2
This is DS and a couple of shitty cameras.
Nintendo is making money like maniacs and the trend seems only in its infancy…
Hope “true gamers” wont get flushed down the drain as the other major gaming companies start (or continue) to copy Nintendo’s new direction (or lack ther of).
