Persona Remake Coming to PSP

My PlayStation is just a bit lonely these days. What with its being old, gray, and buried in my closet, I hardly drag it out anymore unless I want to get my retro PS1 on. Sadly, for good old Peas (is that a bad name for a PlayStation? P? S? I just made it up), it looks like it’s gonna be another few months before I get it out again. Why?

A remake of the original Revealations: Persona title for the PS1 is slated for a release on the PSP. Finally, I will have a reason to upgrade the firmware so that I can actually play retail games, use my PSP. There are scant details about the upcoming release, but rest assured Atlus is handling it, so you know it’s going to be done right! Probably.

It will also probably not be budget-priced.

It may or may not include new content. Doesn’t this just piss you off? You went to all the trouble to procure Persona and now a remake is coming out. I remember that feeling of becoming an empty shell once I dropped $65 on the Persona 3 Limited Edition box and then FES was dangled in my face, for half the price.

I very much miss the glory days of the PlayStation. Perhaps with the flood of remakes inbound we can expect some other kickass releases soon? Please?

I would rather have them put the game up on PSN.

Me too, but it seems they want to be pirated to an early grave.

Oh look! It’s another port for the Playstation “Port”able!
