How About Paying People in Cookies?
As Negative Gamer grows in both size and awesome, we will soon start looking for more contributors to write features, news and other such gubbins that drive the site.
Sadly this place is rather tiny (and poor), so much like other small gaming blog sites, we can’t pay people in real money. The site can only really offer potential payment, exposure as a writer, free passes to events (like CES or E3) and potentially free games for review (though, what company would actually give us games to review?).
Or so I thought. I have a plan you see. What does everybody, even bitchy gamers, enjoy? Muffins and cookies! And with a bit of research, I’ve found places where I can mail order cookies, direct to the writer’s house! Much cheaper than x dollars per post, and frankly, much tastier. Win win!
Better yet, some of the places I looked at actually allow writing on the cookies. So, how about being paid in Negative Gamer cookies? Awesome idea or Most Awesome idea?
Incidentally, if you do want to write (either news or features), and you know what this place is about, then get in touch. Or, if you’re still not sure, wait for me to write a proper “We be looking for writers to write stuff please” post and get all the details then.

Spelling and grammar aren’t a huge deal, but you’ll have do deal with me, NG’s resident editor/nazi.
Personally, payment in cookies is much better than money. Maybe I’ll drop you an email.
