LittleBigServerProblems
Why do games even bother having online modes? I can’t think of a single big title that has come out in the past year that has had fully working online modes out the box.
The LittleBigPlanet servers were turned on less than a day ago, and have already gone offline. And the game isn’t even technically out yet.
The outage is officially caused by Media Molecule fixing “the glitching issues” that people have been complaining about. There isn’t much detail on what those issues are, but PSM3 have a list that looks glitchy enough to cover at least some of the problems.
I’ve just given up expecting decent IT systems from this generation. Companies like Sony shouldn’t even have to blink twice to produce a global server set-up capable of supporting these big titles.
