Rock Band 2 Jokes About Ripping Off UK Gamers

When Rock Band 1 came out in the UK, there was a fair amount of anger aimed towards Harmonix for charging more than double for the game when it was finally released more than 5 months after the US release (9 months for the PS3 version).

Making light of the situation, an overpriced accessory called a “UK Bandana” has been found in the Rock Band 2 Rock Shop. Retailing for roughly the price of Rock Band 1 in Europe, the $366 bandana comes with the description:

Though the price may seem unfairly high, you need to figure in VAT tax [sic], Suggested Retail Price, shipping costs… you’re not being gouged.

I beg to differ.

If they’re acknowledging and making light it, maybe they’ll release RB2 at a more reasonable price.
