BioShock on PS3 to Have Added Content?

According to the latest Take-Two press release, when BioShock hits the PS3 in October of this year it will have ‘œnew features and content that heighten the award-winning experience.’

According to a post up on NeoGaf, EMG are reporting that the PS3 version is being worked on with Sony’s help to “extend and augment the game”. They also say that it’s probably not worth buying if you already have the 360 version, going against the statements of the games Creative Director (although not specified, I assume it’s Jordan Thomas who has taken over from Ken Levine) who says;

Whatever we end up with via our discussions with Sony, coupled with the fact that BioShock allows you to go through and roll your own shooter in the first place…these two factors together would turn into a motive for replay.

Sadly, I must confess that as a massive BioShock fan, if it contains extra, exclusive content, I will be considering buying it. Not least also because the DVD drive on my 360 is on the verge of having a nervousness breakdown.

bioshock is in my opinion the best game on the xbox 360, it is superb, i heard that whatever new content the ps3 gets will benifit 360 owners, i assume that means 360 will get more DLC when the ps3 version is released????? that would be rad.
